Conditions of Contract (TC3)
When to use it: TC3 is available for use when a Sub-Contractor requires some basic terms and conditions to issue to Contractors who are calling tenders or prices for their work. It provides a basis for the agreement between the parties and deals with issue of payment, time for completion and variations and extras. TC3 is available in two versions. TC3a/c is a low cost form of contract but contains restrictions on its use in that it cannot be amended and the document contains a watermark that cannot be removed. Amendable versions (TC3b/d) can be purchased on request. These permit the Contractor to make amendments to selected clauses and provides more flexibility in use.
