Final Account

When to use it: It is vitally important to achieve a clear and concise statement of the final sum due to the Contractor. This is done by preparing a statement which summarises the total of cost changes occasioned by variations, adjustment of provisional sums, claims, dayworks, etc. 

Mensura draws together all of these elements and prepares a statement for signature by the Contractor and the Contracts Administrator (or the Employer). This draws the contract finances to a close. 

A discount of up to 80% is available when Mensura has been appointed to prepare Financial Statements/Cost Reports as we will already have access to much of the information required. Please contact us for a discount code which will be added to your account.

Scope of Service

Our Final Account Agreement service includes:

  1. Receipt and review of the contract file
  2. Assimilation of data to create the Final Account Statement
  3. Preparation of the Final Account Agreement
  4. Instructions for completion of the Final Account Agreement
  5. Notes of any issues or concerns.

If we have been engaged to prepare Financial Statement throughout the construction period, we will already have the relevant data. Otherwise, we will require certain information to be provided by you before we are able to start work. We normally aim to complete the Final Account Statement within 4 weeks of receipt of the last piece of information required. Statements are delivered electronically.
