Fixed Cost Adjudication Scheme

When to use it: As soon as a dispute crystallises. A lawyer or experienced construction professional, familiar with the adjudication process, will manage the process for you. They may be assisted by more junior personnel depending on the complexity of the matter. Our fixed price adjudication service includes technical and commercial input provided by our chartered quantity surveyors. Our combined legal and technical expertise means that we are among the leaders in supporting our clients to resolve construction disputes.

We refer you specifically to clause 4.3 of our Terms of Sale.

If your dispute involves sums greater than £250,000 then please contact us for a bespoke quotation.

Our technical support staff will ensure that your claim for payment (or contention of a claim for payment) is collated in an appropriate, industry standard, manner allowing the Adjudicator to quickly and efficiently understand the salient points.  Note: The technical service offers a summary and is not an expert report.  If you require a court compliant expert report, please see our Expert Witness service product.

Usually parties abide by the Adjudicator's decision; however, sometimes, they do not.  In those circumstances, it will be necessary to ask the court to enforce the decision.  We will recommend a suitable litigation solicitor or barrister who can assist with the enforcement of judgments, should that provide necessary.  We do not charge an additional fee for this but the solicitor or barrister used for the work will charge a fee.
